REFUND INFORMATION
Our approach to refunds
and cancellations.
We aim to provide clear and fair guidance on refunds for services booked through MedsCheck Group. This page explains when refunds may be available, how cancellations are handled, and what to expect if you need to change or cancel an appointment.
Fair, transparent and patient-focused.
At MedsCheck Group, we strive to provide high-quality pharmacy and healthcare services. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to make our refund process as straightforward and fair as possible.
This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for services booked through our pharmacies or website.
Appointments and cancellations
If you have booked a private healthcare service and are unable to attend, please contact your chosen pharmacy as soon as possible.
Where sufficient notice is provided, we will do our best to:
- Reschedule your appointment.
- Transfer your booking to another available time.
- Process a refund where applicable.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may not be eligible for a refund.
Private healthcare services
Refund eligibility depends on the type of service booked.
A refund may be considered where:
- A booking is cancelled within the applicable cancellation period.
- We are unable to provide the booked service.
- An administrative error has occurred during payment.
- The service is cancelled by MedsCheck Group.
If part of a service has already been provided, only the remaining balance may be eligible for refund.
Prescription medicines
For patient safety and in accordance with UK pharmacy regulations, prescription medicines cannot usually be returned or refunded once they have been supplied or dispensed. If you believe you have received the incorrect medication or there is an issue with your order, please contact your pharmacy immediately so we can investigate and assist.
NHS services
Most NHS-funded pharmacy services are provided without direct payment from patients.Where charges apply under NHS regulations, refunds are managed in accordance with NHS guidance.
Vaccinations and clinical services
Some vaccination and private clinical appointments require medicines or vaccines to be prepared specifically for your booking.
For this reason:
- Missed appointments may not be refundable.
- Late cancellations may incur a charge.
- Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Processing refunds
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be made using the original payment method wherever possible.
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
- You will be informed once your refund has been authorised.
