Important Update: Changes to Your Pharmacy Services in Waterlooville

We want to let you know about an important change to pharmacy services in the local area, and reassure you that there will be no interruption to your prescriptions or care.

What is changing?

From 30th October 2026, Brook Pharmacy (Westbrook Centre, Waterlooville, PO7 8SE) will close, and services will move to:

This wasn’t a decision we took lightly. We know some of our Brook Pharmacy patients live right on our doorstep, and we’ve planned this change carefully with you in mind.

Why are we doing this?

Bringing our two pharmacies together means we can offer a significantly better service to every patient — with:

• A minimum of two pharmacists on site, plus extra staff, so prescriptions are ready faster
• More space for dispensing and for private consultations
• Full capacity for NHS services: Pharmacy First, Contraception Service, Hypertension Monitoring, Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, and more — with no limits on availability
• A wider range of private services: Travel Clinic and Yellow Fever vaccinations, weight loss, hair loss treatment, cryotherapy, ear wax removal, and more
• Modern IT systems already in place, so things run smoothly from day one
• Plans to extend our opening hours once the move has settled in

Tuckers Pharmacy is also more centrally located for the wider community, with Mission Lane public car park directly behind the pharmacy and a bus stop right outside.

Worried about getting to us?

If travelling to Tuckers Pharmacy is difficult for any reason, we’ve got you covered. Ask us about our FREE prescription delivery service, running 5 days a week — just let us know and we’ll take care of the rest.

What do I need to do?

In most cases, nothing. NHS Digital will automatically transfer your prescription nomination to Tuckers Pharmacy (ODS code FX540) — there will be no gap in your pharmaceutical services.

• Want our free delivery service? Just let a member of our team know, in person or by phone.
• Prefer to use a different pharmacy? You can nominate any pharmacy of your choice in the normal way, at any time.

This consolidation has been reviewed and approved through the NHS process.
